About The Houston Instrument Share:
Our Story
Our names are Catie and James, and we are seniors in the instrumental department at Kinder HSPVA. We started The Houston Instrument Share to give new life to gently used instruments by providing them to schools in the Greater Houston area with need.
We recognize that because of the high cost to purchase and maintain instruments, it can be difficult for some families and schools to finance this opportunity.
Our Vision
As students specializing in fine arts, we have a great passion for music and believe that everyone should have an opportunity to experience it regardless of background.
This is where we could use your support. If you are in possession of an instrument that's collecting dust or you have/know of a need for musical instruments, please fill out one of our forms below. With your help we can share music across Houston, one instrument at a time.
